Ski Cooper

 

One of the things we love about Colorado, is the great skiing.  Ski Cooper is a wonderful place to go with a family. 

 

Somehow they still manage to keep their rates affordable, inspite of the poor economy we find ourselves in. 

 

After three rounds of Panda Patrol,  we finally let Lindsey head up the mountain with us. 

She did a great job,  and didn't even slow us down too much.

 

Generally one would expect March skiing to be nice and warm. 

 

 

This particular day, was quite a bit colder than we expected. 

 

Much colder than our February trip,  that landed Stacie in the ER with a sore neck. (It wasn't serious. She's ok now, and has recovered quite nicely) 

 

Yes, I know, I've been a little behind on my posting.  Guess we've been just a little busy with life.

 

Somehow the crisp cold air brought out the spectacular, frozen, beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

 

Hot Coco in the lodge only added to the fun and festivities. 

 

What a wonderful day.

 

 

Florida Vacation ~ Winter Garden

 

We spent the final day of our week and a half vacation in Winter Garden.

 

The town has a scavenger hunt that kept the girls entertained all afternoon.

 

Of course anytime they get to climb on a train, they love it.

 

It's one thing they never get tired of.

 

What a FANTASTIC VACATION!! Filled with great memories.

Florida Vacation ~ Disney's Hollywood Studios

 

I love Disney's Hollywood Studios.

 

We got to see all the dye cast characters for Wreck it Ralf.

 

As well as the characters themselves.

 

Can't forget Mickey Mouse.  He's a classic.

 

The Indiana Jones stunt show was pretty impressive.

 

Seeing them change a set was quite an amazing thing.

Florida Vacation ~ Epcot

 

We started our day, and ended our day at Epcot.  My sister's friend works there and provided us with VIP passes.  We were so thankful for her generosity.

 

Epcot has the very best laser light show of all the parks. Getting to the park after sun down, makes it difficult to get good pictures.

 

That being the reason I have so few pictures of Epcot.

Florida Vacation ~ Animal Kingdom

 

We squeezed Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios all into one day on a Parkhopper pass.

 

It was tough to fit it all in, but it was deffinately a fun day.

 

 

My favorite ride at Animal Kingdom is the Safari ride, where zoo and amusement parks meet.

 

Its amazing how close you get to some of these dangerous creatures.

 

I was quite glad to have the metal vehicle surrounding me as we approached the Rhino.

 

Can you imagine the damage this guy could do, if he got mad?

Florida Vacation ~ Raintree Forest Cafe

 

We finished up our Downtown Disney wanderings with a special treat.

 

The Raintree Forest Café  is definitely a unique dining experience.

 

Love these bar stools.

 

Their aquariums are pretty spectacular.

 

The elephant and monkeys are pretty awesome too.

Florida Vacation ~ Downtown Disney ~ Lego Land

 

LEGOLAND  was a big hit.

 

It's amazing what a person can do with a pile of Legos.

 

Hours of entertainment -- and it comes in a box!

 

Mr Potato Head also captivated my girls attention for quite sometime.
