Florida Vacation ~ CedarRiver SeaFood

Seafood lovers who live inland, don't often get the opportunity to taste the real thing.  The stuff that gets frozen and shipped across the country, loses something in quality.

CedarRiver Seafood, located near Jacksonville, is a favorite of several of my relatives who live in the area.

Florida Vacation ~ Old Spanish Sugar Mill, Ponce De Leon State Park

Sometimes I like to find those off the beaten path, hidden treasure kind of places.

The Sugar Mill at Ponce de Leon State park is one you don't want to miss.

The sugar mill has been turned into an all you can eat, make them yourself pancake restaurants.

You can choose from a variety of different toppings, making the most delicious pancakes you've ever eaten.

Don't they look tasty?

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a family picture.  What an amazing backdrop.  Quite a piece of architecture.

Florida Vacation ~ Datona City Park Beach

We were planning on going to Daytona Beach, but we happened to get there when it was high tide, so they had the beach closed.  A friendly gave us the tip that the city park beach was open, so this is where we ended up.

I believe our first beach day ended up being the coldest day we spent in Florida.

Some how the cold didn't deter the girls in the slightest.

Thoroughly enjoying the novelty of splashing in the waves.

I however took the warmer route and only got my feet wet.

Florida Vacation ~ More Sea World

Wow that's pretty brave, getting face to face with a Walrus.  I don't think I'd be that brave.

Feeding time at dolphin cove is the best time to get close to these lovely creatures.

Someone's trying to get his Florida Suntan.

Now he's posing for the camera.
