The wildlife Sanctuary

got itself some

a pretty sweet

new welcome center.

Comoplete with

statues,

a home theater,

conference rooms, 

a gift shop,

and a snack bar.

For those of you who visited before the new addition, this is a big deal. 

The new additions are amazing.  Keep 'em coming.

One day

while we were

out running errands,

we accidentally

stumbled across 

this adorable

little bird shop.

I've thought of 

owning a bird.

and realized 

it's not a time committment 

I'ld be willing to make at this time.

Seeing all the birds was a great deal of fun though, and I will propably visit again.

Seeing an animal

free to run, graze, and play

in an open meadow

is a truly amazing sight.

Combined with the view of downtown Denver,

and endless line of mountains,

open prairies,

and sparse fall folaige

such spectacular views

to be enjoyed and cherished.

Who would imagine that the entire area is surrounded by city.

The Arsenal recently

opened up

a new section

for visitors

to drive through.

Prior to this visit,

our buffalo sightings

have been hit or miss,

and if we did happen to see them,

deffinately not within spitting distance.  Like in this visit.

Fortunately for us

on this particular 

trip,

we got a chance

to see both.

Such amazing

creatures

with incredible

balance

leaping

and skipping

from rock 

to rock.

The girls  

tend to do the same,

but not with 

 near the beauty 

and grace

of these 

Magnificent 

animals.
