Westminster Castle

Westminster Castle

This beautiful piece of architecture serves
Two purposes. Beauty and Function.
In addition to it's bold and beautiful
structure siloetted against the sky,  it
serves as a gathering place for school
children who come to learn.  Imagine
Learning in such a beautiful locale.

Dunafon Castle

Dunafon Castle

Like most

of the

castles in Colorado,

one needs

a special invite

to visit and tour it.

Dunafon can be rented for weddings.  I was able to snap these shots from the road.

Quite an impressive stone structure even when obscured  by trees and mountains.

Molly Brown House Museum

Molly Brown House Museum

Of the various

Colorado Castles,

this one is accessible

to the public

for a small fee.

The tour lasts around

45 minutes.

Unfortunately

photography

inside the castle

is prohibited.

Consequently

I had to content

myself

with only

taking

pictures

of the

exterior.

As you can see,

our dear Molly

spared no expense,

even on the outside

of her

glorious

Mansion.

Truly a must see,

if you enjoy

Colorado gold rush history.

Roosevelt Arch ~ Yellwostone National Park

Roosevelt Arch ~ Yellowstone National Park

Sunsets most anywhere

are pretty spectacular,

but when combined

with the Roosevelt Arch,

surrounding Rocky Mountains,

and lovely cloud coverage ...

you have the makings

of a truly amazing

picture perfect

sunset.

This one

was a show stopper.

I couldn't stop

taking pictures.

So

so

so

beautiful!

While we were there

we made sure to drive

Gardiner Montana.

Couldn't skip the chance

to mark another State

off our bucket list.

And wouldn't you believe,

I found another

castle house.

I never knew

there were so many

castles in the U.S.
