My girls youth group

takes a camping trip 

every year.

sometimes we accompany them,

sometimes we do not.

This time 

the destination

was Prospector Campground in Dillon Colorado.

Such a 

beautiful

place to camp

surrounded by snow capped mountains, sun and sky.  Who could ask for a better place.

For memorial day 

this past year,

we decided to go see Rifle Falls again.

Somehow it  came about 

that we ended up 

camping on our friends land.

It turned out great.

The kids were able to 

fish to their hearts content,

chase the chickens and cows,

and get in some 

serious canoeing

and kayaking time.

Meeker

is incredibly

beautiful

for half a second, I even considered how nice it might be to live there.
