While my sister was here a few weeks ago, took me out for a special treat at the Spaghetti Factory. If there's anyone who knows how to make spaghetti, it's the Spaghetti Factory! It was so delicious. That and the whole downtown thing. I love going downtown where all the skyscrapers are.

My sister's favorite animal is a tiger.
After my first visit to the Wild Animal Sanctuary,
I knew my sister would love visiting a place
with so many tigers.
Our furry friends with fangs,
They soaked up the sun,
went for a stroll
smiled for the camera,
took a nap.
and then went for another stroll.
Such beautiful creatures.

And Now: The Conclusion to Part one of :
Our Adventures in Odyssey
We started our adventures off with a Scavenger Hunt.
These are provided on site.
They come in varying degrees of difficulty,
so make sure you ask for one.
Next spent some time in the actors arena.
My girls have a flare for drama at times.
Plenty of inspiration in this ambience.
They even got to play dress up.
On a not so busy day,
you can even be taped reading one of the pre-recorded shows.
Spent some time on the jungle gym.
Then a few trips down the three story slide!
And last, but not least... Ice Cream at the Soda Shop!

My Girls love Adventures in Odyssey.
We have a number of their program cds,
which we play for them as they fall asleep almost every night.
Going to visit the Welcome Center
Adventure Zone at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs
has been on our to do list for quite some time.
It was definitely worth the wait.
The decorators did a wonderful job with the mural
ambience and décor.
What a wonderful way to bring the stories to life.
... stay tuned for more pictures...
