Busy Beak Bird Shop

Busy Beak Bird Shop

One day

while we were

out running errands,

we accidentally

stumbled across

this adorable

little bird shop.

I've thought of

owning a bird.

and realized

it's not a time committment

I'ld be willing to make at this time.

Seeing all the birds was a great deal of fun though, and I will propably visit again.

Holy Family Shrine Nebraska (The glass Chapel)

Holy Family Shrine

For a couple decades

I've been driving

past this architectural masterpiece

marveling at it's genious,

expressing my desire to visit it.

The time comes

when you have to

take life by the reigns

and make a decision.

I decided to stop wishing

and make my dream a reality.

The Holy Family Shrine,

or "the glass chapel (my personal name for it)

lived up to my expectations

and exceeded it in some ways.

All the beautiful flowers were a extra bonous im my opinion.

Beautiful flowers amazing architecture ~ the perfect combination, if I do say so myself.

Miller Farm~ Pick Your Own Vegetables ~ Who can beat that ?

Miller Farms

Most of us

city dwellers

are spatially  challenged.

What ever yard space

we do happen to have

often gets covered up

with jungle gyms,

decks, pools, gazebos

and other such things.

If we do manage

to squeeze in a garden,

factors such as

poor soil,

fences and trees,

tend to

hinder growing production.

Miller farm has a wonderful solution to urban garden dilemma.

They grow the veggies and you pick them.  Simple as that.
