Pupusas y Tacos

Pupusas y Tacos

Pupusas y Tacos recently remodeled their tiny restaurant.

It looks amazing.

One things for sure, what their building lacks in size, they make up for in taste.  No other pupusas in town can rival such a delicious treat!

Will Rogers Sun Shrine ~ Murals in Winter

Will Rogers Sun Shrine

As a painter myself,

I enjoy seeing

other peoples artwork.

The murals adorning the walls

of the Will Roger's Sun Shrine

cause one to ponder the incredible fete

of painting such under such conditions.

It's one thing to paint a canvas,

but quite another to

create one;s masterpiece

on the walls, ceilings,

and archways of a building.

What a great depiction of Colorado History.

Liquid Descent White Water Rafting Intermediate Run

Liquid Descent White Water Rafting Intermediate Run

Re-posting this from my other blog a few years back.

Steve and I have talked about white water rafting for years. It's something I've wanted to try since I was fifteen. So it seemed like something fun, new, and exciting to do for our Anniversary.

We celebrated twelve years with a BIG SPLASH! The girls went to grandma's leaving us free to do something not quite so kid friendly.
The river was high and running quite fast. (7 cubic feet per second)
I must say[sheepish grin] I was a little nervous to start out, but the guides were great.
They told us exactly what to do, so even when we broadsided a huge rock, we knew exactly what to do. WE DIDN'T EVEN FLIP THE BOAT!
Rowing was tough to synchronize at first, but Lee out trusty guide shouted out "forward one--forward two etc."
It was a total rush, even when the waves completely engulfed us.
I can't believe I'm saying this (chicken that I am . . .)
but I'd go again in a heart beat.
Thank's for a great ride Liquid Descent.

Hudson Gardens Train, Fountain, & Boarders

Chugga Chugga Chuuuuu Chuuuu!

I could

be wrong,

I think

everyone has

either admired,

or dreamed

of having

a train set

at some point

in their life.

The Hudson garden

train track

is so beautifully woven in an among the flowers.

Close by

the fountain

and boarder gardens

put on their own spectacular display.
