I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the Omaha zoo

 

a number of times over the years, and was thrilled to hear

 

that they are now ranked the # 1 zoo in the nation.

 

Quite an accomplishment. 

 

A trip through the Scott Aquarium, well any aquarium for that matter,

 

is always a treat.  All the beautiful sea creatures fascinate me.

 

It makes me want to grow a mermaid tail and explore

 

the wonders of the deep blue sea.

 

 

Love, love, love  the aquarium at Omaha Zoo.

Walk among all the tall buildings, along the 16th Street Mall.

 

There you will feel the heartbeat of the city.

of all the people.

 

It's a feeling one can only find in the heart of the city.

 

Chase some pigeons.

 

gaze at the Clock Tower.

 

ride a buffalo statue.

 

pass through elaborate doors of days gone by.

 

take a carriage ride.

 

so much fun in the heart of the city.

if you're headed to Harvey Gap state park.

 

It also has some nice picnic areas.
